Marco Schouten appointed as director-general Nuffic

The Board of Trustees of Nuffic is pleased to announce that Marco Schouten has been appointed director-general of Nuffic as of 1 August next.

‘With Marco (54), the Board of Trustees has attracted a very experienced director. In his career, he has demonstrated his ability to lead organisations calmly and with great vision. With his strategic insight and vast international experience, we expect him to lead the organisation well in the challenges ahead and thus help prepare Nuffic for the future. We are very pleased that Marco has chosen Nuffic and will take over from Imke Frijters, ’said Bert van der Zwaan, chairman of Nuffic's Board of Trustees.
